Versão em Inglês – Boletim Informativo nr.3 BBTE

The integrated project “Enhancing the capacity of small-scale farmers and peasant associations to engage in sustainable agricultural production and marketing systems in the provinces of Sofala and Manica along the Beira corridor” under the leadership of Concern Universal, promotes a group of strategic actions that aim to operationalize three important dimensions of the cycle: food crop production, marketing and institutional capacity building. The project calls for small-scale farmers in the short and medium term to have access to good quality seeds at affordable prices thanks to subsidies given to seed producers, which small scale at a price perfectly bearable by them. Under the slogan “Safe and steady steps, towards the goal” the third information bulletin was produced – referring to the project. This publication presents the balance of the project carried out by the thematic coordinators and the status of the three components of the project, namely Institutional Capacity Building, Production and Markets.
